    The Relative Vigor Index (RVI) is a technical indicator that analyzes the movements in price level between the open and the close of a financial instrument. It measures the strength of a trend by comparing the instrument’s closing price to its trading range and smoothing the results. It is based on the tendency that the closing price is higher than the opening price in an upward trend and lower than the opening price in a downward trend.

    Calculation:
    RVI = (Close – Open) / (High – Low)
