Rising Wedge

A rising wedge is a type of wedge pattern for technical analysis, indicating a reversal pattern frequently occurred in bear markets. It consists of two ascending trendlines, one connecting two or more pivot highs and one connecting two or more pivot lows. The slope of the trendline connecting the high points is lower than the slope of the trendline connecting the low points, which indicates that the low prices are growing faster than the high prices. A gradually narrowing wedge is formed based on the shape.

As rising wedges have a relatively low risk / high rate of return, they are one of the most popular tools among technical traders.
